Intelligent
Synchronic Shift Transmission
Welcome to the ISS transmission's website. The Intelligent Synchronic Shift (ISS) transmission is a constant-mesh transmission that provides instant and effortless gear shifting without operating the clutch. During gear shifts, electronic units control the transmission and the engine as to minimize speed differences between involved gears –and the torque transmitted through them–. The result is effortless and on-the-fly coupling and decoupling of gears, without requiring any clutch operation. The ISS transmission can be
used in a variety of automotive and industrial applications, and is mainly
intended for automotive vehicles with internal combustion engines. Technical description The technical details of the ISS transmission
